This book is incredibly helpful. It breaks down every single aspect of the CS exam in a almost perfect manner.
expands on other ways to write patient notes and provides a different perspective to approach history taking, physical exam, and pt note. I thought it was worth the price, if anyone needs a little extra touch to the info already provided in f.a. goodluck!!
A bit too much of MD and RN courtesy contents at the beginning, would like more pathology to be explained in details.
Love the section on differential diagnosis! Very helpful.
Very thorough, and picks on details that you don't see in first aid. Definitely recommend going through this book before going through first aid.

Chapters of parts 1-4 are subdivided into multiple topics, which titles are unfortunately not included in the table of contents. The topics are dense summations usually in the form of bullet lists often accompanied by tables, a few diagrams, and notes. Chapter 1 informs about the USMLE Exam. Chapter 2 is on communication and interpersonal skills (CIS). 3 - spoken English proficiency (SEP). After the initial reading, the book can be used for repetitive practicing of all or just of specific subjects, or warming up.The graphical layout of this book in black & white is clear, simple, and graphically exemplary. The titles of chapters, sub-chapters and topics are in different sizes and alternatively boldfaced and capitalized, while light gray background is used to emphasize table text and/or titles allowing grasping the pages at 1st glance easily. Additional materials are included on the companion website. No pages of the book are shown by the "LOOK INSIDE!" function yet. What also cannot be seen is that the book is well printed on good paper, though the flimsy soft cover, typical for the Kaplan publications, is prone to creasing and catching fingerprints.
