VERY SMALL PRINT lol I should have payed attention to the size of the book. thats totally my fault. Im listening to it on AUDIBLE now instead :)

This book has shed light on the happenings covered in the New Testament in more detail, explaining in some cases what have at times been before a bit difficult to understand due to the translations presented in the NIV. In addition, there are stories revealed that I have interpreted differently, and these made it easier to have another opportunity to understand the actual event as seen from another’s eyes. Highly recommended.

At $1.99 for the Kindle edition, this is a good buy. Add Audible when you purchase the Kindle version, and while it reads with a trio of real voices (not computer generated voice recognition), a cursor follows the words on my Kindle Fire as they are spoken and even automatically turns the pages on the the Kindle. I connect the Kindle to my HDTV and sit back and and have the bible read to me while I see the words. This helps me learn the correct pronunciation of names and places. This is an extract of seven complete chapters from the larger book, "The Story".

This particular book is only 7 stories from the original book. They are 7 excerpts from the full version, however it doesn't state that anywhere in the description. It may be good for a preview, but won't tell the full story. Very disappointing that wasn't disclosed anywhere. Guess that's why it was only $2

I have purchased this book so many times. I leave in the waiting room at the clinic I work for with a post-it note stating it’s yours to keep.Easy read for new Christian or someone seeking to know Jesus.Well written!I will keep buying this little book until I retire.

A truly interesting book from beginning to end. Many notes add to enhance "The Story " and bring more thoughts on the subject. Looked forward to reading a chapter every night.

For anyone who hasn't read them, this is a really good read before you start the gospels. I'm starting a bible study of them and this is a easy way to tie them all together and gives you a good reference point or timeline.

So grateful for this book! The way it was written to allow the story of JESUS to flow seamlessly was amazing! Perfect for bible studies or youth services!
