I am delighted that I purchased this book. It is by far the best book I have read in the field of Derivatives. First, it is very comprehensive, covering all derivative classes from futures and options, through interest rate swaps to credit derivatives.More importantly, the material is presented in a readable way without compromising mathematical rigor. With an experience on Wall Street and an advanced degree in finance, I find it extremely hard to find material that keeps a good balance between an analytical and academic presentation, and relevancy to the industry. This book is successful in meeting this challenge - using plenty of trading strategies, case studies, examples and problem sets, the book speaks both the language of the academic ivory tower and that of the trading floors on Wall Street.If you have any interest in this field - this is a must have book.

This book is great for learning some depth to derivatives for those who aren't mathematicians. Derivatives are very complex and heavy in math but this book will give you good insight and the general intuition. Overall it is a very helpful book if you are interested in derivatives of all sorts with minimal math.
